*sigh* MM are still really "overpowered" in PvE for many missions/quests/situations. I like mine alot - there is some thing really great about having an army of your own. It's greatly satisfying. I just don't see any way around it - if you nerf us much more then we are useless and greatly underpowered, right now we still dominate as a memeber of the team.

Once you make a class where we have an army of our own there is unbalance as far as PvE is concerned by default (but unless the domination is such that no other calss is really used - who cares in PvE?). I don't really support much more of a nerf because it's so weak in PvP and isn't so strong in very high end PvE (and much of a nerf kills them for mid-lower end PvE). It's a class that either dominates or is useless depending on the situation.

I agree Factions is much easier in the beginning with a MM and a minion army but again that backs up my theory that ANet is turning this game into an army vs an army game such as Age of Empire. It doesn't matter as much to what skills you have in a battle with a hundred afflicted goons. It does matter if your army is the same size as theirs.

Yeah, that was my second thought (first was: "great, yet another person who feels compelled to eulogize Factions after not quite 2 weeks of play time").

Random lvl 28 turtle boss in the Jade sea: Tenai's Wind -> Aftershock -> ENTIRE TEAM DEAD...yeah really easy. Just wait till you get further into the game, you'll be begging for bosses to have a max of lvl 20 :/
Yeah, then try Kunvie Firewing outside Harvest Temple. Most fun I've had with a keyboard and a crash helmet.

Factions is definitely easy for a necro -- both for MM and plague (maybe not so much for SS, unless you have a party that knows how to contain aggro). Not so for Monks or Rangers. But at least Mesmers might get their time in the sun, once people start seeing the new skills at work.

Bored playing on one profession? Start a new one. Voila: a new game.

Stay tuned for 1 v 1 PvP.

ew... no. I did that quest in 30min. with henchies (and 'Skin the snake' at the same time). With people I failed four times. FOUR TIMES! I swear, monkies are smarter. One group always died when they left the harbor (yes, they got trapped). You'd think they'd stop trying to leave it and try to bring people to them... NO. Like thickheaded morons they kept going back out. I did die about thrice while trying to do it, but was succesful in the end (I also was using Victos and Milanon... ).

Factions is awsome. Phrophecies get really boring in the beginning because its so slow. However, factions turns the heat up right away. I really enjoy it. Oh, and long liv 20 lvl cap!

At lvl 40 you'd have about 1,000hp and 400 attrib points. With that, the game would be pretty much crap. Some things are already over powered, we dont need this.
More like 750 attrib points.
